What is your favorite local restaurant?
Ali Baba Mediterranean! It’s ten minutes from campus and they have the most delicious Lebanese lunch buffet. I would recommend trying their gyro and their saffron chicken.
How did your college experience help shape who you are?
In college, I gained knowledge far beyond what was taught in lecture halls and study groups. Everything I learned demonstrated the value of education, bolstered my desire to serve, and inspired me to pursue a career in which I could help students embark on their own transformative college journeys. Just as important, I created lifelong friendships and lasting experiences that I could have never found anywhere else besides UT Dallas. These moments shaped my path and who I am as a person today.
What advice do you have for students beginning their college search?
I would advise students beginning their college search that they don’t need to have it all figured out just yet. I got so ahead of myself at times trying to plan every single step. With time, experience, and all the other wonderful things that come with growing up, your path will become clear. You just have to be committed to doing the work required to get there.
