The UT Dallas Admission Alerts SMS service allows you to subscribe to receive text messages from the Admissions Office. SMS messages will be used to provide important information related to the admissions process, upcoming deadlines, events, and submission requirements. This program is completely voluntary, and messages will be sent to you by us only if you have opted in. Message and data rates may apply.

All mobile information you share will remain confidential and will only be used by UT Dallas Admission representatives to assist you more efficiently regarding the admission process. UT Dallas Admissions does not share phone numbers with external sources. Other offices, departments or organizations at UT Dallas may collect and use information in forms different than described herein. As such, you should review this SMS Privacy Policy at utdallas.edu/enroll/privacy-policy (PDF), and the policies of any other electronic services or website of UT Dallas that you may use.

If you wish to opt out of receiving text messages or you have received a text message in error without opting into the program, you can cancel the program at any time by:

Texting STOP to 49726 to opt out or unsubscribe from receiving text messages
If you elect to opt out, you will no longer receive text messages from Admissions unless you were to re-subscribe to such services.

This privacy notice explains practices concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of information sent or received via SMS/text in conjunction with the Office of Admission and Enrollment. Information collected for the SMS/Text Program will be used only as outlined in this privacy notice.

This technical information is retained and utilized for tracking the communication history of messages sent to individual subscribers. Information collected could include:

Other than sharing your information with appropriate university personnel, offices, or departments to manage your relationship with us, Admissions will not disclose personally identifiable information about you except under the following circumstances:
