Transfer Admissions: Deadlines and Fees

Domestic and international students are encouraged to submit a complete transfer application as early as possible. Once an application is received — including all required supporting documents — it can take four to six weeks before receiving an admissions decision.

Please Note

  • All supporting documents and transcripts must be received on or before the deadline for an application to be considered complete. Information regarding regular and late registration is available on the academic calendar.
  • For applications or any required documents submitted after the stated deadlines, we cannot guarantee that we will process your application in time to render an admission decision.

Payment instructions for applicants who do not qualify for a fee waiver:

After submitting your application through ApplyTexas, submit your $50 application fee and $75 late application fee (if applicable) or $50 international credential evaluation fee (if applicable) through the UT Dallas Marketplace.

All fees are non-refundable.

*Applicants with international academic documents will be assessed an additional international credential evaluation fee of $50.

Submitting Fee Waivers

Submit your application fee waiver request in the Orion Applicant Center in Galaxy under the Admissions Forms section using the “Submit App Fee Waiver” option. Qualifying fee waivers include: NACAC (Option two only), proof of military service and/or by attending either Preview Friday or a Scholars’ Day event.
