Collin College Academic Alliance
Collin College and The University of Texas at Dallas have partnered to establish the Collin College Academic Alliance, allowing students to co-enroll at both institutions. Beginning in Spring 2025, this program provides access to resources, courses, and academic support from each campus, streamlining students’ pathway toward their degree.

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems & Technology (CIST)*

*Pending approvals from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
How to Participate
Students interested in participating in the Collin College Academic Alliance must complete the following steps:
Step 1: Apply and be admitted to Collin College.
For detailed application instructions, please visit the Collin College admissions page.
Step 2: Complete the required Math courses.
Students pursuing coursework in the Jindal School of Management through the Academic Alliance should successfully complete MATH 1314 or MATH 1324 before applying to UT Dallas.
Step 3: Apply to UT Dallas as an undergraduate non-degree seeking student:
- Complete a Transfer or Visiting Student application on ApplyTexas, selecting Undergraduate, Non-Degree as your major choice.
- Select “Other – Collin College Academic Alliance” as your school choice.
- Submit official transcripts from all institutions attended.
